Big idea: Jesus has freed us from our internal wars, so how do we stop fighting them?
Main Point: Accept full grace
Prophetic Thought: Our internal wars leak into our external worlds. The pain we carry makes us afraid to let people in. The insecurities we have come out as biting comments about others. The inadequacy we feel holds us back. We keep choosing self-reliance, pride and shame over God’s grace through Jesus. We keep looking to the world to fix us, but Jesus is standing in front of us with the answer. He wants to move the inward awkward conversation
