Main Point: We are to be blessing carriers, not burden bearers  

Prophetic Thought: Shiny objects, dazzling views, and entertainment at our fingertips make it easy to get distracted and lose sight of what matters most. Distraction has become part of everyday life, and when we lose focus, our faith can start to shake. We carry our distractions with us—holding close our worries and letting our independent nature steer our attention inward—so that in trying to stay in control and keep life on track, we often end up operating in our own power, timing, and will. Yet even in the midst of all this, God’s grace is sufficient, and the gift of the Holy Spirit spurs our faith forward.
