Renew
When we show up Sunday mornings do we expect God to be there? Do we pray and expect miracles to happen and people to get healed? Do we not grow roots into our faith because of our messy lives, lack of stability or unpredictable circumstances? Do we ever feel like church, faith or religion is just one more thing to do? What if we allowed God to renew and change the way think about our what it means to put down roots? We can start believing that faith in Jesus is a process not just an experience. In 2018 let us renew the way we think about the here and now and start putting down deeper roots regardless of where we are at or what season we are in. Let’s declare “NOW” is that time and start growing right where God has planted us. When we say, “yes” to Jesus he plants a power and light in us that is unimaginable. When we allow God to renew the way we think about what it means to put down roots we start changing our few of our church, our community, our faith and spiritual growth.
