Monthly Develop Training – Feb 3rd, 2020

                              “KEEPING THE BODY HEALTHY”

For many of us, we’ve made another New Year’s resolution to take better care of ourselves. It may be through a wholesome diet, consistent exercise or a total lifestyle change. Yet, we know that our good intentions don’t always “pan out,” and we fall right back into our usual, more comfortable, patterns of living. If that’s you, come hear our guest speaker, Dr. Blondel Assonken on Monday, February 3, 6-8pm at Hayford Community Church, and get motivated for 2020, to be a healthier “you.” Health enthusiasts and those just interested in Healthier Living are WELCOME. CHILDCARE and a delicious DINNER will be provided free of charge. Don’t let the cold weather doldrums keep you from attending this fun and informational session.

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

                                                                   FEBRUARY 05, 2020

Have you struggled to understand what is meant by the Baptism in the Holy Spirit? Have you heard stories, read articles or been given explanations that intrigue, yet scare you a bit? Is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit a second experience, after conversion (that may be marked by speaking in tongues)? Are you hungry for the experiential reality of the Indwelling Spirit and not just doctrinal or historical facts? Are we missing out on what God created us to experience? Celtic Christians called the Holy Spirit, “An Geadh-glas” meaning “The Wild Goose.” Their intention was not to be disrespectful, but to point out that the Holy Spirit cannot be tracked or tamed. “He has an element of danger and an air of unpredictability that surrounds Him.” (Pastor Mark Batterson, “Chasing the Goose”). Yet, He wants to powerfully reach the world through you. Plan to come hear our special speaker, Pastor Bill Fowler (The Church without Walls), jot it on your calendars right now. 6-8pm at Hayford Community Church. Childcare will be provided. Sign up here if you are interested.

Connect Dinner – March 9th  The Connect Dinner is an opportunity for newer attendees to get to know Pastor Jacob, Pastor Kym, and the rest of the church staff. The Connect Dinner is also a great place to learn more about the church and how you can get involved. I look forward to seeing you there! It is from 6-8pm at Hayford Community Church.  Food and childcare will be provided. Sign up here
