Join us on a Prayer Retreat Hike – May 19th

When:  May 19th from 9:30 – 5:00

Who:  Adults, No Childcare Provided

Difficulty Level:  Easy, if you can walk on uneven ground for a short distance, accommodations can be made.

Cost:  Free

This retreat is different.  First, let’s define retreat.  Retreat:  a quiet or secluded place in which one can rest and relax.  A period of seclusion for the purposes of prayer and meditation.  Synonyms:  refuge, haven, sanctuary, hiding place, escape.  We retreat to a beautiful conservation area and spend time in prayer, solitude, rest, and stillness in order to have time to settle our minds and allow room for the Lord.
We meet at 9:30, begin a guided hike in the area, spend time in worship, and then individually find our own spot to settle in.  You will have an agenda to follow along with that includes listening to nature, being still, reading, journaling, praying, walking, singing, napping, and more. For some, this sounds like an eternity but trust us it is time well spent and you will be surprised by how fast time goes by.   We meet back together at 4:00, share, worship and eat!

Service at the Park – July 15th

This year we need to move where we are going to have the Service at the Park. It will not be in Medical Lake, it will be at Sunset  Park in Airway Heights. We will have a BBQ, worship and service. Lunch will be at 11:00

Elementary School kids camp – July 20th – 23rd

This year elementary school kids camp will be at Silver Lake in Medical Lake from July 20th – 23rd.

Middle School Kids camp – July 27th – 31st

This year Middle School Kids camp will be at Silver Lake in Medical Lake from July 31st – August 4th

Hunters VBS – Aug. 5th -10th

Cedonia Community Church – Vacation Bible School August 5th – 10th

Women’s Retreat – Sept. 21st -23rd

Women’s Retreat – Union Gospel Mission, September 21st -23rd, 2018. $100 per person

Cleone’s Pantry Food Bank

Starting March 19th Cleone’s Pantry will also be opening the first and third Monday of the month longer hours.  The new hours will be extended from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Contact Mary Benko for more info at 509-855-6384.

Wednesday Morning Ladies Bible Study meets every Wednesday from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
We are Jesus loving women who each week pray, support and uplift each other while growing our faith in Jesus Christ.
Our studies vary from Bible studies that use books, DVDs and study guides to studying a book of the Bible.

Hikers Prayer Group

Meet: Thursdays at 5:30 in the Rusty Moose Parking Lot
